Regularly I normally wouldn’t take a peak at Trussardi’s mens collection but something came over me and I decided to take a look. Well has my mind ever changed about the brand! I was overly impressed by the collection and like the Versace collection, it’s one of my favourite for Spring 2011. It does help that the model is absolutely handsome with an amazing pompadour but I think these looks can be translated to many guys out there. Though the looks are simple and the pieces are some what basic, it is all well styled together. I like how short the hems are for the trousers with the ankle showing and I especially enjoy the two-tone shoes. What I like about the first look is the horizontal striped sweater (in which I have a similar one that I found in H&M for a good $15) paired with slim fit trousers and the two-tone shoe. The second look, is a great look for every guy out there, a basic jersey tee with a wide crew neck paired with slim black trousers. The red leather motor-style jacket kind of is a “Rebel Without a Cause” look that I’ve always enjoyed. Something that seems a bit popular this season is what I call the Aztec print, looks great as a button up and I’ve recently bought a pair of harem pants with that exact print. In what I seem to be obsessed over, the leopard print jackets in this collection are stunning. Simply paired with a basic white tee or with what you would never think to mix leopard with; stripes. Oddly enough, I would have never thought of mixing the two together, it looks amazing. What I love about the sixth look is the double-breasted beige blazer, accessorized with a leopard belt and printed shoe. A very handsome look and daring. What is there not to love about the last look?! My favourite is the shorts, I love the length of it, the tone of grey it’s in and the fabric. I enjoy how it’s paired with the red blazer and striped shirt. Overall, the Trussardi Spring 2011 collection can be easily put together by any guy, the styling is just perfect for Spring and I think these looks would make any guy very handsome!
