I think the city of Vancouver definitely lucked out for the past week and a half or so! The weather has been exceptionally amazing – clear skies and sunshine, I honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. Because of the weather being so great, I’ve been out trying to soak as much sunshine as I can so that’s my amazing excuse of why I’ve been so slow to post. Who can blame me?

Here’s an outfit of me embracing my inner “dude”. A fitted cap and sleeveless hoodie combo – who would’ve thought? I’ve always been slightly anti-sleeveless hoodies but I think with the right combo I can definitely deal with it. I don’t know what made me give into this hoodie but it’s pretty great. The cotton also feels pretty nice. Away from the hat, I think this purchase of the Wings+Horns x Ace Hotel hoodie surprised my friends as well as it’s not something I would normally pick out but that’s the whole evolution of one’s closet I feel like.

People who are too rude to say “Hello” back when you greet them can seriously shove it. I cannot stand disrespectful people. Sure enough, I don’t consider everyone my friend but have the decency to be polite.

I enjoy going to random stores/boutiques and stumbling upon items you might enjoy, not knowing their little treasures inside. My sister and I, were wandering the Castro in San Francisco and we stumbled upon this boutique in a midst of a renovation, it wasn’t overly great but they had a pretty collection of accessories. Anyways, this one single feather ring was sitting all alone and I thought it was pretty enough to sit on my finger. Also considering it was just $18, it was horribly inexpensive. Also been lounging in this overly comfortable plaid cardigan on my good ol’ lazy days… which I wished was every day because I’m doing too much for everyone else but myself. Not cool.

Today I saw a girl wearing army pants and flip-flops.

Nine more days till my birthday and all I’m hoping for is good meals with my friends… along with that possibly some thoughtful gift cards so I can go shopping, if not gift cards at least a card! Seriously. Though I haven’t seen anything I dearly love out there so I don’t really have a list to share.

Like everyone on a vacation or at another destination other than their home city, it almost seems like a must to buy a souvenir for the sake of memory. I fall for souvenirs all the time but unlike usual memorabilia like a key chain, some sort of statue that represents the city or shot glasses, I usually pick up something that I could wear or that I know I can put into good use. My dear cashmere Burberry scarf with the oversize nova check was a souvenir from my first trip to New York, my Theyskens’ Theory bag was a souvenir of my Seattle trip and of course being in Las Vegas surrounded by the Forum Shops, Barney’s and Fashion Show mall, I had to pick something up for myself! First was the little gift of the D&G sunglasses that are so amazingly cute. It features everything I love; oversized, bug-eye shaped, grey with what looks to be like a leopard print on them but isn’t; was one souvenir or just an impulse buy because American pricing is so amazing especially with the currency rate. My ultimate souvenir has got to be my little purchase from Neiman Marcus, that being my Givenchy Pandora bag. There’s so many things that I love about it. Mainly the look of the bag, there’s only one handle on the bag where you can actual just hand hold it, elbow it and throw it on your shoulder. It also features a detachable long strap that you can wear with one shoulders or over the shoulder and it still looks amazing. The main compartment inside are more than just roomy (I can actually just throw my netbook in), then there’s the front compartment that leaves just enough room for anything else a bit smaller you need to fit and then there’s the pocket in the front that you can slip cards or whatever you need to. I just… love it… and almost just straight up obsessed about it. Definitely another classic added to my bag collection that seem to not be shrinking.

Wow. Seriously, I completely feel like Chilly Willy in this outfit. The bow-tie, the black and white, it just feels like him – minus the fact that I don’t have a cute little red toque on. Also, if you don’t know who I’m talking about, please google him because I dearly love Chilly Willy. I’m not going to lie, I have a stuff animal of him in my room!

The snow in the background is for real. It almost feels strange to see snow in November here, considering the month usually consist of rain 24/7. It’s really lovely to see the snow fall. Everything does look beautiful when the trees and mountains gets blanketed with snow but it gets so disgusting when it turns into slush. It hasn’t been too warm, like today, it was minus five with some serious wind chill. Time to whip out the wool coats, sexy sweaters and cozy scarves!

The sunglasses and shirt are two of my favourite pieces from the Lanvin x H&M collection. I never ever have had a bow on a garment before (bow-ties excluded) and this shirt is just too amazing and adorable! I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just so quirky and fun. I had a lot of people telling me they didn’t like the sunglasses and that it wasn’t worth it but seriously I LOVE THEM. I’m pretty obsessed with them, I love how silly they almost look and I’ve always been a fun of large sunglasses. Yeah, on some people they look like theatre 3D glasses but that I ain’t my fault!

Oh, don’t forget to sign up for the Marc Jacobs Bang Giveaway! Contest ends on Wednesday, November 24th. Girls, it’s really okay if you sign up too because honestly, if you win it, you can give it as a gift to a boy you heart! See post below.
