Sorry folks! Been really ignoring my blog lately again. I can’t help it if summer is out and about in the city, even though autumn is slowly creeping in. I had a few outfits that I totally wanted to shoot this summer but I couldn’t even put in the time to even do that. Here’s a super delayed outfit post. This shirt I purchased from H&M last summer was only $17.95 and I just remembered everyone thinking “You actually like that?” and well, I did buy it which means I do like it! The trend definitely picked up this past spring with all the Hawaiian prints and 1950’s car prints (thanks to Prada). And finally a peak at my new wallet I got for my birthday – Chanel zip around wallet in pebbled leather with the embossed monogram. Definitely a lovely replacement from my Gucci that was sadly taken away from me. Shit happens.

It’s been a crazy month so far, I wouldn’t fully consider it a good crazy month either. There’s just been a lot of stuff happening all at once and it can feel pretty stressful. Especially when it’s personal, family, work and relations happening all at once. My head literally just wanted to blow up. It get’s to that point where you just have to cry it out in tears and let’s just be honest – I had to cry it out. I had to cancel out on my friends with our trip to Vegas, my sister had an allergic reaction to antibiotics so she had to get rushed to the emergency room, planning flights to my cousin’s wedding in November, father’s day of course made me think of my dad and just a bunch of other stuff going on that I don’t even want to mention that just added to my ever-growing stress.

I think to really top it off my wallet got stolen. That was probably the biggest headache. Every week something shitty had to happen and then of course, my precious wallet got stolen. So there goes my Gucci – sad face. This will be the last post you’ll ever see that wallet in my hand. I don’t normally hope for negative things to happen to certain people but in time karma will just catch up to the person who stole my wallet. I guess I’ll just have to be on the hunt for a new wallet… I was thinking Prada or there was a Chanel I really liked. We’ll see. Hopefully July will be a better month.

I think the city of Vancouver definitely lucked out for the past week and a half or so! The weather has been exceptionally amazing – clear skies and sunshine, I honestly couldn’t ask for anything better. Because of the weather being so great, I’ve been out trying to soak as much sunshine as I can so that’s my amazing excuse of why I’ve been so slow to post. Who can blame me?

Here’s an outfit of me embracing my inner “dude”. A fitted cap and sleeveless hoodie combo – who would’ve thought? I’ve always been slightly anti-sleeveless hoodies but I think with the right combo I can definitely deal with it. I don’t know what made me give into this hoodie but it’s pretty great. The cotton also feels pretty nice. Away from the hat, I think this purchase of the Wings+Horns x Ace Hotel hoodie surprised my friends as well as it’s not something I would normally pick out but that’s the whole evolution of one’s closet I feel like.

People who are too rude to say “Hello” back when you greet them can seriously shove it. I cannot stand disrespectful people. Sure enough, I don’t consider everyone my friend but have the decency to be polite.

My obsession with jackets continue with this newly purchased jacket from Board of Trade Co. Strolling in one day not exactly planning to buy anything – it was so lovely seeing the beautiful Eunice and Amaly sitting there chilling and laughing by the way. While talking with them I couldn’t help but stare at Eunice’s jacket. Well of course she was sporting this amazing Wu+Sen jacket, it was so cute on her, oversize and so comfy looking, I saw it hanging behind me and just had to throw it on. For several moments we were twinsies and after a short thought, we were permanent twinsies. We even traded toques and hats, we should’ve just switched up shirts too! Anyways I love it, the length of the coat gives it a fun twist with the contrast sleeves.

Usually when I’m having a bad hurrr day, you’ll find me sporting a toque or hat. I recently picked up this fitted cap with my good friend Jace and it was a pretty good laugh as he couldn’t fully take me seriously. I’ve always enjoyed the look of a fitted cap but never went out to actually just try one or even get one. Now I can’t stop plopping it on my head and wearing it with whatever. It took a lot of my best friends to adjust to it but they all really enjoy it. We like to call it my “straight boy” hat as it’s so weirdly butch but I love it – just embracing my inner “dude”!

Oh! Isn’t my iPhone case fun? I usually have just a boring clear case on and I finally stumbled upon a cover that felt really… well… me. It also just straight up reminds me of the Viktor&Rolf Antidote cologne bottle for mens. The other fun thing about it as well, is the fact that it also looks like it’s melting on the face of the phone. Such little things that amuse me! Oh well.
