Print on print on print on print… it’s a bit crazy, a bit graphic, a little nauseating but so fun. Yes, they are swim trunks but I honestly don’t plan to go swimming in them, so I wear them out and about a lot. A great way to tone this whole entire look down, if you do plan on wearing the same print in a top and bottom, is to just throw another layering piece on. I usually just throw a basic black cardigan on top of this and I’m good.
I’m so ready for Vegas.
So a while back my sister decided to surprise me with a little random photo shoot that was being held in Vancouver. She just told me to make sure I wear a white tee or a white shirt in general – I didn’t think too much of it. It was fun and I just love my sister. Don’t hate!

Took me forever to shoot any of my Marni x H&M pieces but that’s so typically me. I’ve been wearing it through the season but I’m just so slow at posting! One of the first pieces I decided to grab while shopping the collection at H&M. Yes, it’s from the ladies collection but I’m guilty for loving silk bottoms! I also just purchased silk printed pants from Club Monaco recently – Yay. I’ve always loved this whole “pajama look” and wished it was introduced more in men’s wear but we all know I don’t really care which side I’m shopping on. The stupid thing is I grabbed the biggest size thinking I would need room for my front junk but to be honest I could have really gotten two sizes smaller because it’s just falling off my waist… Or what I’d like to think is that I lost weight… I didn’t.
Nine more days till I’m flying out to Las Vegas with all my pretty little friends! I’m so excited! I’ve made a stupid list of what I need to pack (just in case I forget to pack anything) and I’m pretty sure I’m over packing. Typical of me to do.
Loving their new look for their Japanese track. It’s the best I’ve ever seen these girls look. Super clean lines and what looks to be simple outfits are actually pretty amazing – like the white tunic top with the black chiffon panel and the bow tie with rosettes on it. The black and white is really strong and I love the blush tones in the second look – they look like mannequins on podiums. To be honest as well… what made me love this entire video even more was the crystal shapes while they do their dance sequence. So good.

Sorry folks! Been really ignoring my blog lately again. I can’t help it if summer is out and about in the city, even though autumn is slowly creeping in. I had a few outfits that I totally wanted to shoot this summer but I couldn’t even put in the time to even do that. Here’s a super delayed outfit post. This shirt I purchased from H&M last summer was only $17.95 and I just remembered everyone thinking “You actually like that?” and well, I did buy it which means I do like it! The trend definitely picked up this past spring with all the Hawaiian prints and 1950’s car prints (thanks to Prada). And finally a peak at my new wallet I got for my birthday – Chanel zip around wallet in pebbled leather with the embossed monogram. Definitely a lovely replacement from my Gucci that was sadly taken away from me. Shit happens.
Most of my friends know I’m a huge Sailor Moon fan/freak/obsessed. In celebration of Sailor Moon’s 20th Anniversary, I decided to post an illustration of Sailor Jupiter, Mercury, Mars and Venus. I’m a true nerd about Sailor Moon; I have all five seasons on DVD, the first released manga comics in english, I even have some of the books in Japanese edition, now collecting the newly released versions of the manga, still got my posters and cards too! I love the fact that Sailor Moon has now been re-released and there’s even a new anime version of Sailor Moon being released universally in summer 2013. Yay!
